I've always had a strong belief that photos are one of the best way to connect us to the past. To remember a special occasion. To learn about the past, or to be stunned that you actually loved that hairstyle of yours from way back when.
Should I list photography? It's pretty obvious but I guess I should, so photography. I also get have a strong passion for cooking, and dining (they need to go together right?) I love being a part of what I consider the best place on Earth (Vancouver Island) and exploring all the different and dynamic parts of it. Being a part of events, and the "Behind the Scenes" crew is a wonderful hobby I enjoy, which can be a photographer for a music video, or helping out a event in my community. I love my Island, and being able to be a part of it by capturing those moments in time for people on it.
Bellies & Families, these two things are some of my favourite moments to photograph. There is something so special about a life about to be born, and capturing those moments of children and families growing together. Now with that said, don't worry. Every shoot I do I find more and more things I love to do. Photography is a passion of mine and I enjoy doing all kinds of shoots. From nature and wildlife to business and couples. My husband and I hired Booshie Photographic to do our wedding pictures. She was amazing! Kendra met us the night before while we did a rehearsal, she had some great ideas and suggestions for getting the best results. The day of the wedding she showed up a early and took pictures while she waited for the ceremony to begin. She was very patient with all of the kids and all my requests. I asked for many different poses, and she was happy to oblige. She was enthusiastic and more than willing to do what was necessary to get the good shots. Her pictures are beautiful and her ideas were great. I would highly recommend Kendra to anyone who needs pictures done professionally. I will definitely hire Booshie Photographic if I ever need a photographer again.
Kendra has done a number of family photo sessions for us and we have always been thrilled with her work. She gets a great reaction from my son and can also make herself blend into the background for those candid shots. The quantity of great pictures she sends makes it difficult to choose which to frame! I also appreciate that the finished photos are not over-edited, she has a great sense of subtly which still makes the photo pop. Kendra is accommodating, professional, very easy going and is always the first we go to for professional photos.

Kendra from Booshie Photographic is simply put AMAZING! She is such a talent who does amazing work from start to finish. From the first time you meet her to getting the disc in hand, I was blown away at how great she was with my children (they LOVE her), the great ideas she came up with that I had never thought of, her professionalism, the quality of the editing, great pricing and her sheer talent for her age blows me away! It is easy to tell right off the bat that Kendra has a passion for photography. She enjoys what she does, so it was a very easy going, fun session. 1 hour flew by in what seemed like 15 minutes. Best of all she was top notch with my toddler. It was important for us to have a couple treasured photos of our son before our new bundle arrives, that he can look back on - Kendra captured that for us, thank you for the beautiful keepsakes!! We are looking forward to future sessions with you. Overall great experience!
